We clean and lubricate the guides and locking joints, replace the rubber plate if needed (TrioPod, TrioBalance, QuadroPod), and clean and lubricate the guide plates and screws on the tripod legs. Worn guide plates or rubber rings are replaced as necessary. A basic external cleaning keeps your tripod looking neat and well-maintained.
